Citizen Steps Forward and Protects Neighbor’s Property

(Goderich, ON) On the 11th of April, 2010 at approximately 12:45 am a woman observed two youth walking on Cambridge Street in Goderich carrying a small lawn ornament and a small piece of lawn furniture. When she confronted the two young persons, they dropped the items and fled on foot. Huron OPP officers were called and searched the area with negative results. The complainant retained the found property at her home for retrieval by the proper owners.
