Christopher Reed – Drunk Driving

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday October 20, 2012 shortly before 2 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer stopped a Jeep Cherokee at the corner of Main St. west and Victoria Ave. North in Listowel for a vehicle lighting violation.

The officer determined that the driver had been drinking alcoholic beverages. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was transported to the Palmerston OPP Detachment where the driver failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.

Christopher REED (32) of Palmerston has been charged with “operation with over 80 mgs of alcohol”. He has a court date scheduled in Listowel at the Ontario Court of Justice on November 14, 2012, to answer to this charge. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
