(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – On Sunday September 30, 2012 at approximately 9:30pm County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on County 34 east of Townline Road, Puslinch Twp. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2007 Pontiac GBS that came upon the checkpoint. During the investigation police located a small quantity of marihuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was also bound by a Probation Order.
Christopher Proulx aged 19 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Breach of Probation contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on November 16, 2012 to answer to the charges.
