Christopher Mcnamara – Drive While Suspended

(BLUEWATER, ON) – On Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 9:24 a.m. a grey Mazda pickup entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint set up at the intersection of Mill Road and Parr Line. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle officers detected an odour of an illegal drug coming from inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the passenger was in possession of a small quantity of an illegal drug.

A driver’s licence check on the driver revealed a suspended licence. As a result, the driver Christopher MCNAMARA, 28, from London was charged with Driving While Under Suspension. He has a court date scheduled for November 6, 2012 – Provincial Offences Court – Goderich. The passenger, Fraser KENNEY, 21, from London was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He has a court date scheduled for November 19, 2012 at Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
