Christopher MacDonald – Drunk Driving, Failed To Stop For Red Light

(NORTH HURON, ON) – On February 18, 2012 just before midnight a Huron OPP officer observed a Dodge pickup truck westbound on Amberley Road fail to stop for a red light at the intersection of Amberley Road and London Road. The officer stopped the pickup truck and upon speaking with the driver noted the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages. The driver failed a roadside breath test and later failed two intoxilizer tests at the Listowel OPP detachment.

Christopher MACDONALD, age 36, from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with “Operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood” and Red Light fail to Stop. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham on April 19, 2012 to answer to the charges. In addition, he was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. LP12043922
