(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On July 16, 2013 at 3:57 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 15 in Kincardine Township recognized a man driving a Brown Oldsmobile Alero as a prohibited driver. Upon seeing the officer, the man abandoned the vehicle and ran into a field where he tried to avoid police in a bush area. 49 year old Christopher HARRIS of Kincardine has been charged with Drive while disqualified and Take motor vehicle without consent. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for July 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
