Christopher Hanna – Drunk Driving, 3X Legal Limit

Impaired Driver Blows Over 3 Times Legal Limit

On June 30, 2013, at approximately 5:35 pm, the Owen Sound Police Service had occasion to pull over a motorcycle travelling in the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue East Owen Sound, Ontario regarding some apparent driving ability concerns of the rider.

During the stop it was revealed that the male party was operating his motorcycle with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and no current validation sticker. Further investigation indicated that the male’s ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by the consumption of alcoholic beverages and he was subsequently arrested for impaired operation. A breath test conducted later at the police station revealed readings of 300 mgs and 310 mgs that were (3) times the legal limit. In addition, it was discovered that the male is currently released before the Courts upon similar outstanding impaired operation charges and was found to be operating the vehicle without a designated interlock device.

The accused, Christopher HANNA (41 yrs) of Chatsworth, Ontario was held for a bail hearing on July 1, 2013, upon numerous criminal and highway traffic act offences, including impaired operation, operation over 80 mgs, and breach of undertaking conditions.
