Christopher GERBER – 130 in an 80

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On November 30, 2017 at approximately 12:00 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on The Hanlon Expressway, Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a 2012 Hyundai Accent at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 130 km/h.

43-year-old Christopher GERBER of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on January 3, 2018.His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
