Christopher Fidom – Drunk Driving

(GODERICH, ON) – An early morning traffic stop on Maitland Road South has resulted in a 36 year old male driver losing his driving privileges for an automatic 90 days. Just before 2:30 a.m. on May 18, 2013 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a green Ford pickup truck on Maitland Road South. Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a fail on the device. The driver was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit.

Christopher FIDOM, 36, from Goderich has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 8, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
