Christoper SUTTIS – Drunk Driving

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday October 25, 2013 shortly after 4 a.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a motorist failing to make a complete stop at the intersection of Wellington Ave. South and Main St. East in Listowel.

The officer pulled over the Ford Taurus and upon speaking with the driver it was noted that he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside breath test was administered which the driver failed. He was arrested and transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment in LIstowel for breath tests. Two breath samples provided at the Detachment determined that the driver had a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit..

Christoper SUTTIS (18) of Palmerston has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on November 27, 2013, where he will answer to the charge. He also received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle he was operating has been impounded for seven days.
