The preliminary hearing for the Ward Brothers of Wingham began November 1, 2010 Goderich Ontario.
Both 26-year old Ron and 25-year old Chris Ward were both facing second degree murder charges in connection with the death of 22 year old Scott Hayes.
As a result of the preliminary hearing, Chris Ward will not be standing trail.
Ron Ward will be tried on the charge of Second-degree Murder. Ward will be in court on January 6th for pre-trail. Ron Ward is set to stand trial on January 28th.
