Police are looking for information about who is responsible for damage done to a local school. During the evening hours of April 17th into the morning of April 18th unknown suspect(s) broke into the Barrie Montessori School located at 161 Hanmer Street West, Barrie.
Once inside the school the kid’s pictures over their coat racks were completely smashed and damaged, tables and plants were overturned, a fire alarm bell was ripped off the wall and an extinguisher is missing.
Most upsetting were the obscenities written on a whiteboard and desk referencing the people that attend the school.
The approximate damage to the school is just under $500.00. Police are working with the principal to identify the suspect(s) of this crime. The owner of the school has offered $1000.00 for information as to who may be responsible.
