In December 2015, the Waterloo Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began an investigation regarding a 54 year old Kitchener male who accessed and was in possession of Child Pornography. After further investigation, on January 18th 2015, members of the ICE Unit arrested the male. The male was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to combat Internet Child Exploitation. This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
