On October 20, 2014 the Guelph Police were contacted about a dog bite. It is alleged that at 12:20 p.m., a mother and son were walking on King Street near Palmer Street. Two males walking a large brown dog believed to be a bulldog or similar breed approached the mother and son. As the dog neared the child, it lunged at his face. The bite caused redness and swelling but did not break skin. The males left the area with the dog. Police would like to speak with these two males to identify the dog and ensure its vaccinations are up to date.
