On Friday, December 5th, 2014 at approximately 10:00 pm, an officer on general patrol observed a Chatham man known to him that was in breach an earlier release condition by being out past his curfew. The man was subsequently arrested and while being search incident to arrest, police located a prohibited weapon (bear spray) as well as quantity of illegal drugs.
A 26 year old Chatham man is in custody, charged with Breach of Undertaking, Possession of a Prohibited weapon and three counts of Possessing a Controlled Substance. He is scheduled for a Bail Hearing later this morning.
