Man Arrested on Warrants CK17029196
In October 2016, the man was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released with a future fingerprint date and court date.
He did not appear at the court house on either of those dates and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
In May 2017, the man was located in Chatham and was arrested on the outstanding warrants for his arrest in relation to the four criminal offences:
– Theft under $5000
– Possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000
– Fail to attend for fingerprints
– Fail to attend court
While he was being searched incident to arrest, drugs were found on him. Therefore, he was additionally arrested and charged with possession of drugs. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and later released with a court date of June 15, 2017.
Again, he did not appear at court on that date and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Early this morning at 3:00 a.m. the man was located at an address in Chatham and arrested on the warrant. He was transported to C.K.P.S. HQ where he has been held for a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Theft CK17028966
In the early hours of August 8, 2017 the man entered a business located on Chatham Street N. in Blenheim. Once inside, he was captured on video surveillance rummaging through employees’ personal belongings within the lunchroom of this business. Before leaving the building, he took a bag that belonged to one of the employees. Police were called when workers noticed items were missing.
Through investigation, the man was identified.
Last night at 7:00 p.m. Frederick Rose, 24 years, of McGeorge Street in Blenheim was arrested in
Blenheim and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released with a court date of August 25, 2017.
Man Charged with Failing to Comply CK17029194
In June 2017, the man was released from custody after being charged with numerous property related offences. One of the conditions of his release was to remain inside his residence between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
Early this morning at approximately 2:30 a.m. the man was observed riding a bicycle on Sandys Street in Chatham by an officer on general patrol. When the man was stopped by police, he gave a fake name and date of birth to the officer. However, through investigation the man’s real name and proper date of birth was learned.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with obstruct police and failing to comply with his curfew. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he has been held for a bail hearing.
