Update – Motor Vehicle Collision CK15032310
On October 27, 2015 around 2:38 p.m. emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Erieau Road and Bisnett Line in Harwich Township. A southbound Chevrolet Impala turned left onto Bisnett Line and in doing so, turned directly into the path of a northbound Harley Davidson motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and later airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London. The female driver of the Chevrolet was not injured.
On November 6, 2015, Clifford ‘Jamie’ Stokes, 49 years of Erieau died as a result of his injuries.
Yesterday, Magdelaine Jack, 59 years, of Lagoon Road in Blenheim was charged with careless driving. She will be required to attend court on January 20, 2016.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15035654
Yesterday morning, a Windsor man attended the Chatham-Kent courthouse. Police received information that the man was currently wanted by the Windsor Police Service for failing to comply with his release conditions.
The 32-year-old Windsor mas was taken into custody and transported back to Windsor for court purposes.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15035729
On August 20, 2015 the woman was released from custody with several conditions. Two of the conditions stated that she had to obey a daily curfew and reside at a specific address in Blenheim.
On the night of September 20, 2015, an officer attended the woman’s residence to conduct a compliance check. At this time, the officer learned that the woman was not obeying her curfew and had moved out without notifying police of her new address. A warrant for her arrest was issued for two counts of failing to comply.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m. this morning, the 31-year-old Blenheim woman turned herself in to police. She was taken into custody and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Driving While Under Suspension CK15035707
Last night around 9:00 p.m. an officer on general patrol observed the man driving a GMC pick-up truck on Pook Road in the Blenheim area. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Talbot Street East and learned that the man was suspended from driving for unpaid fines.
The 46-year-old Chatham Township man was charged with driving while under suspension. The man’s vehicle was driven home by a licensed driver.

Around 11:00 p.m. last night, an officer on general patrol observed a U-Haul van on Richmond Street in Chatham. Police had received a report of a suspicious U-Haul van earlier in the night so the officer initiated a traffic stop. Through investigation, the officer learned that the man’s driving privileges were suspended due to unpaid fines.
The 25-year-old Chatham Township man was charged with driving while under suspension. The vehicle was towed from the roadway.
Break and Enter in Chatham CK15035639
Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked residence on Raleigh Street and stole six bikes. Total value of the theft is estimated at $10,000.
