Man Charged with Impaired Driving CK15026353 The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for impaired driving in Chatham. Around 6:00 p.m. last night, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision near the area of St. Clair Street and Lowe Street in Chatham. Upon police arrival, the driver was identified and suffered no injuries as a result of the collision. Through investigation, the officer believed that the driver had consumed alcohol. As a result the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to Chatham Kent Police headquarters for further breath test. Shane Parker 30-year old from Chatham has been charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was released with conditions pending a future court date. Man Charged with Breach of Recognizance CK15026380 The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his conditions. Yesterday evening around 11:30 p.m. police responded to a residence on Winterline Road for a disturbance between a man and a woman. Through investigation, police learned that the man was under conditions to obey a curfew 10pm and 6am and remain in his residence. David Valiquette, 30 years, of Grande Pointe was charged with breach of recognizance. He was held pending a bail hearing. Man Charged with Break and Enter CK15026335 The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a break and enter in Chatham. Yesterday, police received a call regarding a suspicious male party around the area of Bloomfield road and the railway tracks around 1:00 p.m. Upon officers arrival the male party was located in a backyard in a shed, and as a result he was arrested. A 40-year-old Chatham man has been charged with Break and Enter, he was held pending a bail hearing. 911 Hang up calls Chatham-Kent Police responded to 17 hang up/accidental 911 calls in the last 24 hour period.
