Chatham-Kent Daily News Release – August 24, 2015

The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 111 Calls for service over the past 24 hours. There was one arrest.

Break and Enter – Chatham-Kent Hospice Construction Site – CK15025529

In the morning hours of August 23rd 2015, it was discovered that a construction trailer on the site had been entered, at 99 Park St. Chatham. Break and Enter- Dover Township – CK15025540

A vacant residence, was broken into over the last week in the area Bush Line. A Gibson guitar, a JD riding lawnmower and a utility trailer were stolen. Man arrested on warrant – CK15025536

A 45 year old Chatham man was arrested in the early morning of August 23rd after he was located at a residence without being in the company of his surety. He was arrested for Breach of Recognizance and was held for a bail hearing.

Drug seizure – CK15025573

Police located and seized some marijuana plants in a field in the area of Kenesserie and McKay’s Line after an officer was approached by a local farmer who located the plants in his field. Police eradicated fifteen (15) 3’ plants from the field.
