Great Lakes Police Motorcycle Training Seminar.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service will be hosting this event starting today through until Saturday at the Bradley Convention Centre on Richmond Street in Chatham.
This event attracts police motorcycle officers from across North America and will conclude on Saturday with a thrilling display of skill as riders compete for the 2015 Overall Champion title.

Man Charged with Theft CK15025032
Shortly after 8:00 p.m. last night an officer on general observed the man known to him riding a blue and black Reebok Oregon mountain bike on Duncan Street in Wallaceburg. The officer spoke with the man and made note of the serial number of the bike. Around 9:30 p.m. the officer was flagged down by a resident who reported that his blue and black Reebok Oregon bike with the exact same serial number had been stolen from James Street. Officers located the man in Chatham on Park Street with the stolen bike in the trunk of a car.
Clinton Baylis, 33 years, of St. George Street in Chatham was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released pending a future court date of August 25, 2015.
Stolen Dirt Bike CK15025000
Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, unknown suspect(s) stole a 2005 yellow Suzuki dirt bike with a ‘Rockstar’ graphics package bearing the number 5 from a residence on Rose Beach Line. The dirt bike is valued at approximately $2500.

Stolen Truck CK15024965
Sometime August 18, 2015 between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a black 2005 GMC Sierra pick-up truck from a residence on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg. The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 502 9EW.

Break and Enters
CK15024854 – Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage on Paxton Drive in Chatham. Loose change, set of keys and personal identification were stolen from two unlocked vehicles in the garage.
CK15024862 – Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage on Hudson Crescent in Chatham. A black and blue men’s Ironhorse bike was stolen.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK15024966
Around 8:30 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision on St. Clair Street near Jackson Drive.
No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $10,000.
A 64-year-old Sarnia man was charged with careless driving.
