Woman Charged with Failing to Comply CK15024162

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman for breaching her release conditions.

On June 13, 2015 the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that she was to abstain from communicating with a specific Chatham man.

Last night around 9:00 p.m. an officer on general patrol observed the man and woman riding bikes together on Richmond Street. The officer stopped the woman and she was taken into custody.

The 21-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Stolen Vehicle in Wallaceburg CK15024068

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen truck.

Sometime yesterday between midnight and 7:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a black 2002 GMC Sierra pick-up truck from a residence on Dufferin Avenue. The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 492 8LC, had an extended cab with rear folding doors, large mud tires and a decal of four ducks in the middle of the rear window.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Wallaceburg CK15024100

Shortly after 12:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on McNaughton Avenue near Reaume Avenue.

Three people were injured and transported to Sydenham District Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Total damage was estimated at $15,000. A 79-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with failing to obey a red light.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham CK15024177

Around 11:00 p.m. last night, police responded to a two vehicle collision on St. Clair Street near McNaughton Avenue.

No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $4500. A 62-year-old Chatham man was charged with making an unsafe lane change.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK15024113

Sometime August 10, 2015 between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage on Carnation Court. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole 3 adult bicycles, fishing gear, roller blades, black Reebok running shoes, shovel, CDs and beer. Total value of the theft was estimated at $2000.
