Motor Vehicle Collision CK16015506
Shortly after 8:00 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision between a school bus and tractor on Fargo Road near Talbot Street. The driver of the bus attempted to pass a tractor pulling a haybine when the farmer turned left into a private driveway.
The farmer sustained minor injuries. Luckily, there were no children on the bus. Total damage was estimated at $15,000.
The farmer, a 61-year-old Blenheim man was charged with making a turn not in safety.
Theft of Camping Trailer CK16015603
Sometime this month, unknown suspect(s) stole a 1979 Falcon camping trailer from a property on Colbourne Street in Chatham. The trailer is white with a distinguishing black flex seal spray on the front. It was last seen with Ontario license plate L8691Z.

Stolen Boat CK16015549
Sometime yesterday between 4:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a 16’ camo coloured boat with 15HP outboard motor from a residence on Bury Road. The trailer was last seen with license plate J3295P. Value of the theft is estimated at $3300.
