Break and Enter in Chatham CK16028305
Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) walked across a bean field to enter the complainants barn. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole $1500 worth of property. Taken was 3 lawn mowers, 2 roto-tillers and an air compressor.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16028349
Yesterday afternoon around 1:40 p.m. police attended an address on Payne St. in Chatham.
A man currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft, possession and Breach of Recognizance of Bail was located and arrested.
Michael Latford, 32 years, of Raleigh Twp. was arrested and held for bail
Man arrested on Domestic Related Warrant CK16027220
On Aug. 21st the victim contacted police with regards to being harassed by her x-boyfried. Through investigation it was revealed that in the past she had been assaulted on two occasions by the accused and threatened. As a result a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday around 5:30 pm, the 20-year-old Chatham man was located and arrested charged with two counts of assault and one count of Uttering Threats.
He was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing in the morning.
Man Charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK16028383
Last evening around 6:30pm. police were notified by the OPP that they had a male party in custody who was intoxicated on Park Ave. E in Chatham. Police attended the area and found the man to be heavily intoxicated and took over the arrest.
The man was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters for his own safety.
The 50 year old Chatham man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and later released when sober.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16028453
On June 20, 2016 the man was released from custody for the offences of theft and possession under $5,000.00 and for breaching his probation order..
On Aug 5th, 2016, the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
This morning, around 5:00 a.m. police located the man on Grand Ave W. in Chatham. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant. The 46-year-old Chatham man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
