The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 128 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested on outstanding warrants.

Industrial Accident CK16036243

Just before noon yesterday, emergency personnel responded to an industrial accident at R S Technologies on Industrial Park Road in Tilbury.

A 44-year-old man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Ministry of Labour was notified and has taken over the investigation.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK16036322

Sometime yesterday between 1:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked residence on Patteson Avenue and stole jewelry, an HP laptop and a Canon Rebel camera. Total value of the theft was approximately $2100.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham CK16036286

Yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue near McNaughton Avenue. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $10,500.

A 20-year-old Dresden woman was charged with careless driving.

Theft of Trailer CK16036090

On October 25, 2016 around 4:30 a.m. police responded to an alarm at Profota’s Farm Equipment on Centre Side Road.

Upon arrival, officers learned that unknown suspect(s) had broken into the business and stolen a black 2016 camping trailer valued at approximately $40,000.
