The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 175 calls for service in the past 24 hours. There were 6 arrests.

Break and Enter CK16027970

Sometime after 5:00 pm on Friday August 26, 2016, unknown suspects entered a garage on Carnation Crt. in Chatham and stole a blue Giant Roam2 XL bicycle.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16027865

At approximately 9:00am on Friday August 26, 2016, Chatham-Kent Police received a complaint of a male party walking the CN railway tracks in Chatham. A 27 year old Chatham man was located and it was discovered he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The Chatham man was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters to process the warrant, then transported the Chatham-Kent Court House for bail court.

Stolen Vehicle in Tilbury CK16027850

Between the hours of 10:45pm on Thursday August 25, 2016 and 5:45am on Friday August 26, 2016, Chatham-Kent Police attended a Centennial Cr. address in Tilbury in response to a stolen vehicle complaint. Overnight a 2010 Dodge pickup truck, black in colour with black leather tonneau cover was stolen. The pickup truck was last seen with Ontario license plates AN57965

Mischief in Tilbury CK16027854

On Friday, August 26, 2016 Chatham-Kent Police responded to a call of mischief at Memorial Park, Tilbury. Sometime between the hours of 9:00pm on Thursday August 25, 2016 and 7:00am on Friday August 26, 2016, unknown suspect(s) entered the pool area and broke into the life guard hut, breaking the window.
