The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 115 calls for service in the last 24 hours. One person was arrested.
Man Charged with Criminal Harassment and Resist Arrest CK16032286
Yesterday morning, police responded to a residence in Chatham as a woman reported that a man known to her was harassing her, despite her repeated efforts to get him to stop. Officers located the man and he was warned regarding his actions. The man left the area however returned minutes later and then left again on his bike. Officers located the man riding his bike and he was directed to stop as he was under arrest. The man refused to cooperate with the officers and was physically taken into custody after a short struggle.
The 42-year-old Chatham man has been charged with criminal harassment and resist peace officer. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Stolen Lawnmower CK16032386
Sometime between last night at 11:30 p.m. and this morning at 3:30 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a 2004 Kubota Z21 diesel zero turn radius orange lawnmower from a residence on Norton Line. Total value of the theft is $10,000.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK16032303
Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Dufferin Avenue between Arnold Street and Warwick Drive in Wallaceburg.
No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $1000.
A 35-year-old Walpole Island woman was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
