Man Charged with Domestic Related Offences – CK16032194
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following an investigation regarding domestic violence.
On Saturday, September 24, 2016, the accused attended the victim’s residence in Blenheim and caused damaged to her property. While present, the accused also assaulted the victim and made threats to kill her.
A 43 year old Chatham man has been charged with assault, choking, uttering threats, and mischief under $5000. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants – CK16032197
On October 28, 2015, the accused was involved in a domestic dispute which resulted in him being charged with assault. On August 23, 2016, the accused was required to attend court in regards to this charge but failed to do so. As a result a warrant was issued for his arrest for the charge of failing to attend court.
Yesterday at approximately 6:40 PM an officer on general patrol observed the accused in the area of Richmond Street in Chatham. At that time the accused was taken into custody. A 42 year old Chatham man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Domestic Related Offence – CK16032235
On September 24, 2016, the accused was arrested on domestic related charges of assault and uttering threats. The accused was later released from custody with a condition not to associate with the victim.
Last night officers attended an address on Duke Street in Chatham in regards to a call for service. While present, officers located the accused at that location and in the company of the same female party. The accused was placed under arrest at that time.
A 31 year old Sarnia man has been charged with Breach of Undertaking. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Theft in Thamesville – CK16032138
Sometime overnight between Friday, September 23rd, and Saturday, September 24th, unknown persons attended a business on London Road in Thamesville and removed four tires and rims from two trucks parked in the lot. The total value of the stolen property was estimated at $7000.
