Male arrested in Windsor on outstanding Warrant

On the 12th of January, 2016 Police responded to a reported theft at a Business on Park Street, Chatham. Investigation revealed the theft of two laptop computers and resulted in an arrest warrant for an 18yr old Chatham male. On the 22nd of January 2016 Windsor Police had located and arrested the wanted male. As a result, Chatham-Kent Police attended and took custody of the accused. He was transported to Headquarters and lodged pending bail court.

Chatham Male arrested for a Breach of Probation related Warrant

During the early afternoon on January 22nd, 2016 a 31 year old wanted Chatham male was located in the area of Grand Avenue East, Chatham. The male was subsequently arrested under the strength of a warrant for Breach of Probation and transported to Headquarters, pending bail court.

Police arrest 46 year old male involved in Theft Ring

On the 21st of January, 2016 Police commenced an investigation with respects to a Theft of electronics at a business on McNaughton Avenue, Wallaceburg. On the 22nd of January, 2016 a 46 year old Chatham male involved in the theft was located and subsequently arrested for Theft & Possession of Stolen Property, under $5,000. The male was transported to Headquarters, pending bail court.

Police investigating residential Break & Enter

During the early morning hours on the 22nd of January, 2016 Police attended to a residential Break & Enter at an address of Amelia Street, Chatham. Investigation revealed that sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered the residence through an unlocked kitchen window. A quantity of electronics & jewelry were taken. At this time investigation is continuing. Police investigating attempted Break & Enter

During the late afternoon on January 22nd, 2016 Police attended to a business on Grand Avenue West, Chatham in response to an attempted Break & Enter. Investigation revealed that sometime overnight unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into the building through the use of a pry bar. Entry was not gained, however the incident resulted in approximately $300 damage. At this time investigation is continuing. Chatham male arrested for numerous Domestic related charges

On the 23rd of January, 2016 Police attended to an address on Eighth Line, Raleigh Township in response to a Domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 35 year old Chatham male for numerous domestic related charges including: Mischief, Forcible Confinement & Threats. The male was transported to Headquarters, pending bail court.
