Chatham-Kent Daily News Release – 20Dec2016

The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 110 calls for service in the last 24 hours. No one was arrested.

Stolen Vehicle in Blenheim CK16042967

Sometime yesterday afternoon, unknown suspect(s) stole a white 2001 Chrysler Sebring from a residence on Lumley Street. The vehicle was last seen with Ontario license plates BVTE 692.

Stolen Snow Blower in Tilbury CK16042965

Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) stole a John Deere 1330SE snow blower from Goodreau Excavating on Queen Street North. Value of the theft has been estimated at $1000.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK16042937

Around 9:40 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Bloomfield Road near Middle Line.

Minor injuries were reported. Total damage was estimated at $40,000.

A 57-year-old Blenheim man was charged with disobeying a stop sign.

CKPS Food Drive

From now until Christmas, the Chatham-Kent Police Service will be accepting food donations in an effort to support Outreach for Hunger and the Salvation Army this holiday season.

Donations may be dropped off at any CKPS service center across the Municipality.
