Break and Enter CK16006708
On March 18, 2016, Chatham-Kent Police officers were dispatched to attend the area of Jeffrey Street, Chatham, in response to unwanted persons being inside of an abandoned residence. Four youths were located outside the residence, who admitted knowing that entering the abandoned house was the wrong thing to do. Each of the youth were brought home to their parent or guardian who was made aware of the incident.
Stolen Vehicle CK16006718
On March 18, 2016 at approximately 9:52pm, Chatham-Kent Police officers were dispatched to attend 12097 Talbot Trail, Morpeth in response to a call of a large piece of debris on the roadway. When officers attended, they observed a break and enter to the Sunny Acres Vehicle and Metal Recycling compound.
Through investigation it was revealed that a recently purchased GMC Sierra pickup truck was missing from inside the compound. The pickup was not plated when it was stolen. The 1999 GMC Sierra extended cab, is black in colour. Other distinctive notes about the vehicle are the muffler had already been removed, and that one or more of the windows have been smashed. Early morning complaints of a very noisy pickup in the Blenheim area driving erratically have been received. The vehicle has not been located yet.

Break and Enter CK16006727
On March 19, 2016 at approximately 1:00am, Chatham-Kent Police officers were dispatched to attend an address Queen Street, Chatham, in response to a call of a break and enter. Through investigation it was discovered sometime since 7:00pm on March 18th, unknown suspects entered the front door of the Queen Street apartment, and stole approximately $2,000.00 worth of the victim’s belongings.
