Police Conclude Photo Investigation RM16000121

On Monday, the Chatham-Kent police received several images via a third party taken on top of the Condo Project on King Street in downtown Chatham. Through investigation, police identified the three people involved and all were warned about their dangerous and illegal behaviour. Police also spoke with the owner of the property who was satisfied with the police action taken.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service does not encourage or support their actions. “Public safety was really our first concern. To see people up on a crane, unharnessed, taking photos was very disturbing. Although they obtained their photographs and video unharmed, this incident could have had a very tragic ending,” says Constable Renee Cowell.
