Sometime between August 11th– August 13th, 2016, unknown suspect(s) entered through the basement window of a commercial building on Richmond Street, in Chatham, and removed copper wiring and brass. This incident remains under investigation at this time.

Residential Break & Enter – CK16026008

Sometime overnight between August 12th-August 13th, 2016, unknown suspect(s) entered a residential garage on Molengraaf Way, in Chatham, and removed several items. This included a Raleigh bicycle, black and blue in colour, various tools, and frozen meat.

Warrant Arrest – CK16026134

On August 14th, 2016, at 0400hrs, Police initiated a traffic stop on Emma Street, in Chatham. Through investigation, Police learned that the driver of the motor vehicle was wanted on outstanding warrants for Failing to Report Change of Address, as per his Sex Offender Registry conditions.

A 34-year-old Chatham Man was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Female Charged with Driving While Under Suspension – CK16026062

On August 13th, 2016, at 1530hrs, Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of St. Clair Street and Gregory Drive. Through investigation, Police learned that the driver of the motor vehicle is a suspended driver.

A 25-year-old Chatham woman was charged with Driving While under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
