The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 131 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.
Man Charged with Domestic Related Offences CK16034218
On February 7, 2016 the man entered into a Probation Order with several conditions. Two of the conditions stated that he was not to communicate or associate directly or indirectly with a specific Windsor woman and to abstain from alcohol.
On Monday morning, just before 8:00 a.m. police located the man on Pain Court Line near Jacob Road. The man was unconscious and transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention. Through investigation, police learned that while driving through Chatham-Kent, the Windsor woman pulled over on Jacob Road as the man was intoxicated and punching the inside of her vehicle. Both exited the vehicle and an argument started which resulted in the man breaking a car window and tail light. Fearful for her own safety, the woman fled the area.
Last night, the 31-year-old Windsor man was arrested and charged with mischief and two counts of breach of probation. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Assault CK16034441
Last night, a local teen contacted police for assistance regarding domestic abuse.
Through investigation, the 15-year-old disclosed that she had been the victim of domestic assault for several months.
As a result, her ex-boyfriend, an 18-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000 and six counts of assault. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16034387
On September 7, 2016 the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that she was to report to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Wallaceburg Service Centre every Wednesday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
On September 21, 2016 the woman failed to sign in as required and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday, the woman turned herself in to police and she was arrested on the outstanding warrant. Myrakle Cook, 19 years, of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg has been charged with failing to comply. She was released pending a future court date of October 28, 2016.
Theft of Firearm CK16034445
Sometime between October 2nd at 3:00 p.m. and October 11th at 8:00 p .m. unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on Mariner Line in Erieau and stole an over/under style Savage rifle capable of firing both single .22 caliber bullets and 410 shotgun shells. The rifle had a black/green composite body and was stored in a grey fabric Plano Gun Guard case. A box of 200 .22 caliber bullets, box of 25 .410 caliber shotgun shells and 40” Proscan flat-screen TV was also stolen.

Break and Enter in Thamesville CK16034345
Sometime yesterday morning between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked apartment on London Drive and stole the homeowner’s wallet containing cash and personal identification.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK16034346
Yesterday morning, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Mariner’s Road in Erieau.
A 49-year-old Ridgetown man lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and struck a hydro pole.
No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $8000.
The collision remains under investigation.
