Police Investigate Commercial Break & Enter
On the 11th of March, 2016 Police responded to 565 Richmond Street, Chatham in response to a Commercial related Break & Enter complaint. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) entered a construction trailer and removed an assortment of tools. Police arrest Male & Female in Drug related Search Warrant
During the early afternoon hours on March 11th, 2016 members of the Chatham-Kent Police: Intelligence Unit executed a Controlled Drugs & Substance Act related Warrant at a residence on Duke Street, Wallaceburg. As a result, a 27 year old male and a 55 year old female, both from Wallaceburg, were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Both the male and female were released with a future court date
Chatham Male arrested for Public Intoxication
During the early morning hours on March 12th, 2016 Police attended to an apartment building on McNaughton Avenue West, Chatham, in response to a complaint of a disturbance. Further information indicated an unknown male party was repeatedly buzzing units, causing a disturbance. Upon arrival an 18 year old Chatham male was located and found to be intoxicated. For his safety, the male was arrested for Public Intoxication, transported to Headquarters and held until sober. The male was issued a Provincial Offence Notice with respects to the charge.

Shortly after 5:00am on March 12th, 2016 Police located a 41 year old Chatham male laying on the ground on King Street West, Chatham. Upon subsequent investigation, the male was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. For his safety, the male was arrested for Public Intoxication, transported to Headquarters and released when sober. The male was issued a Provincial Offence Notice with respects to the charge.
Police Investigate Recovered Stolen Vehicle
During the early morning hours on March 12th, 2016 Police responded to 90 Richmond Street, Chatham, otherwise known as “Tonic Nightclub” in response to a stolen vehicle complaint. Investigation revealed that sometime throughout the evening unknown person(s) stole a 2013 Ford Focus, Grey in color with Alberta Licence Plates: BLK1036.
At approximately 8:00am on March 12th, 2016 Police attended to an address on Mallard Line, Dover Township and recovered the stolen vehicle.
