The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 107 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Two people were arrested.
Woman Charged with Break and Enter CK16034295
On September 21, 2016 police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Coatsworth Road in Wheatley. The suspect(s) stole various tools, alcohol and frozen meat. Through investigation, police learned that four people attended the home in a stolen vehicle and were responsible for the break and enter.
Two of the four suspects have been arrested already. Last night, the third person was arrested. The 18-year-old Harwich Township woman has been charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000. She was released pending a future court date of November 1, 2016.
Police continue to look for the fourth person. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16034321
On July 8, 2016 the woman was released from custody for the offences of failing to comply, breach of probation, theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000 and obstruct police.
On September 9, 2016 the woman failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
This morning, around 1:30 a.m. police located the woman she was arrested on the outstanding warrant. The 31-year-old Blenheim woman has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Chatham CK16034232
Sometime between October 6th and October 10th unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked shed on Grand Avenue East and stole various tools and a blue CCM bicycle. The suspect(s) also forced their way into a pool house and stole a stereo system and meat from the freezer.

Mischief in Chatham CK16034228
Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspect(s) broke a panel of a garage door to a residence on Norway Maple Drive. Damage was estimated at $1500.

Mischief in Wallaceburg CK16034240
Sometime between October 9th at noon and October 10th at 8:15 a.m. unknown suspect(s) broke a 3’ x 8’ window at Maverick Machining on Old Glass Road causing about $500 damage.
