Uniforms Unite to Save Lives

The Chatham-Kent Police, Fire, EMS, OPP as well as the residents of Chatham-Kent are being called to action this month. The call is in support of ‘Uniforms Unite to Save Lives’ — a month-long blood donor campaign that promotes the need for blood. Roll up your sleeves and help us save lives.

Today, there will be a blood donor clinic at the Ridgetown District Secondary School on Harold Street North from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

New donors and walk-ins welcome. United We Stand…and Give !!

Chatham-Kent Community Safety and Well-Being Forum

Join us on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Civic Centre, 315 King Street West in Chatham as Chatham-Kent Police Chief Gary Conn leads the discussion on community safety and well-being. The forum will highlight some of the trends in community policing, demonstrate successful community partnerships and new technology being launched. Four stories of safety and well-being will also be shared. The event is free and open to everyone.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK16009284

Sometime last night between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a residence on Park Lane causing about $200 damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) rummaged through several cupboards and drawers. Three bottles of perfume valued at $100 were stolen along with one bottle of medication.

Mischief to Vehicle in Chatham CK16009243

Sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, unknown suspect(s) scratched the hood of a vehicle parked on Thames Street. The damage was estimated at $500.
