On Tuesday, May 9, 2017 police were dispatched to the area of Balmoral Rd. Chatham, in response to a call of a break and enter. Through investigation it was determined that approximately $1000 worth of power tools were stolen from the home owner’s garage.

Break and Enter- CK17015996
On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, police were dispatched to attend the Jeffrey St. area in Tilbury in response to a call of a break and enter. Through investigation it was determined that sometime overnight, unknown suspects stole two chain saws and a generator from the owner’s shed and trailer.

House Fire CK17016026
On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, police were dispatched to attend Gray Street area in Chatham in response to a call of a structure fire. Chatham-Kent Fire quickly took control and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries as there was no one present in the residence at the time. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been requested.
