Youth Charged with Break and Enter CK16029664
Last night, shortly after 11:00 p.m. police responded to a suspicious person inside a residence on Richardson Avenue in Tilbury. The suspect left prior to police arrival but was apprehended a short time later.
The 16-year-old Tilbury youth has been charged with break and enter. He will be released pending a future court date of September 26, 2016.
Man Charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK16029670
Late last night, police responded to an intoxicated man at a business on Richmond Street in Chatham. The man was taken into custody for his own safety as he was unable to care for himself.
The 31-year-old Collingwood man has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be released when sober.
Stolen Vehicles from Chatham CK16029541
Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, unknown suspect(s) stole two vehicles from a residence on St. Anthony Street.
A red 2009 Chevrolet Malibu bearing Ontario license plates BMFY 683 and grey 2010 Ford F-150 pick-up truck bearing Ontario license plates AE45 217 were stolen.
Yesterday afternoon, the Chevrolet Malibu was recovered in a parking lot on St. Anthony Street. The Ford F-150 remains outstanding.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Ridgetown CK16029566
Yesterday morning around 11:00 a.m. police responded to a two vehicle collision on Lisgar Street.
No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $5000.
A Ridgetown man was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Mischief in Dover Centre CK16029411
Yesterday, police responded to several incidents of mischief within the community of Dover Centre.
Six properties, including the Church lawn, Memorial Park grass & ball diamond and private lawns were damaged as unknown suspect(s) drove a vehicle across grass areas while spinning their tires and doing donuts.
Total damage has been estimated at $4200.
