Woman Arrested Twice in 24 hours CK17004337
Last night around 7:30 p.m. the woman attended an address in Chatham and started yelling at a man and woman known to her. When the woman was asked to leave, she punched a glass window causing it to shatter. Damage was estimated at $75. Police were called and located the woman.
The 37-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000. She was released with a court date of February 24, 2017. One of the conditions of her release was not to communicate with the man.
An hour and a half later, the man contacted police to report that the woman had called him four times since her release.
The woman was re-arrested and charged with an additional four counts of failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Cedar Springs CK17004327
Last night just before 6:00 p.m. police responded to a break and enter complaint. Upon arrival, the officer observed that the rear door of a cottage on Douglas Road had been kicked in, causing approximately $200 in damage. Through investigation, it was determined that alcohol, a stereo, a television and a Kegerator had been stolen.

Update – Motor Vehicle Collision CK17003583
As previously reported, on January 30, 2017 around 10:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on McNaughton Avenue at Truro Road in Chatham. Three people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision was investigated by the Traffic Unit. As a result, on February 4, 2017 a 22-year-old Windsor man was arrested and charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm. He was released with a court date of February 21, 2017.
