Man Arrested from Wanted List CK160002902
On January 2, 2016 the man was released from custody pending a future court for the offence of resist peace officer.
On January 22, 2016, the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning, police located the man and he was arrested. Anthony Ermatinger, 34 years, of River Road in Walpole Island was released pending a future court date of February 24, 2016.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16002963
On September 16, 2015 a warrant was issued for the man as he failed to comply with conditions of his Probation Order.
Last night, police located the man on Gray Street and he was taken into custody. Thomas Morgan, 35 years of Park Avenue East in Chatham was released pending a future court date of February 18, 2016.
Man Charged with Breach of Probation CK16002942
On March 8, 2015 the man entered in to a Probation Order with several conditions, including not to contact or communicate with a list of people or attended a specific address on Canterbury Street in Chatham.
Yesterday afternoon around 4:15 p.m. the man attended the residence and made contact with two people on the list. Police were notified and the man was apprehended.
The 38-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with three counts of breach of probation. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Youth Charged with Assault CK16002832
On February 3, 2016 around 10:30 a.m. an argument ensued between the teen and an employee of Vic Park School on Murray Street in Chatham. The youth pushed the woman and kicked a classroom door hard enough to cause about $300 damage.
Yesterday morning, police located the youth and he was taken into custody. The 17-year-old Chatham teen was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
Citizen’s Police Academy
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is once again offering the ‘Citizen’s Police Academy’ beginning March 2, 2016.
The program consists of 12 classes which are held every Wednesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Interested members of the public are asked to complete an application form accompanied with a copy of photo identification.
