The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 148 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested.
Serious Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham CK16033375
Last night at 9:00 p.m. emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a car and cyclist at the intersection of Queen Street and Park Avenue West.
The driver of the car, a 37-year-old Chatham man was not physically injured.
The cyclist, a 52-year-old Chatham man sustained life-threatening-injuries and was airlifted to London where he remains in critical condition.

Man Charged with Assault with a Weapon CK16033336
Yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. police responded to an assault complaint at a business on Richmond Street in Chatham.
While in the drive-thru, a driver was asked for cigarettes and money from a man he did not recognize. When the driver refused, the man through a hand full of dirt in his face.
Officers located the man on Keil Drive and he was taken into custody. The 54-year-old man has been charged with assault with a weapon. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Youth Charged with Assault CK16033080
On October 1, 2016 police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police learned that during a verbal argument, the teen assaulted his ex-girlfriend. He fled the residence prior to police arrival.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the male youth and he was arrested. The 17-year-old Walpole Island youth has been charged with two counts of assault. He was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK16033379
Last night, around 9:30 p.m. police responded to a suspicious man outside a residence in Wheatley.
Officers located the intoxicated man and he was taken into custody for his own safety as he was unable to care for himself.
The 39-year-old Romney Township man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He was released when sober.
Vehicles Damaged in Wallaceburg CK16033281
Sometime over the past weekend, unknown suspect(s) attended Riverview Chevrolet Auto Dealership on Murray Street and damaged two vehicles on the lot.
The suspect(s) damaged a blue 2010 Chev Silverado truck in an attempt to start it and stole the front license plate AN12 228. Damage to the truck was estimated at $1500.
The suspect(s) also stole a $700 drive shaft from a silver 2016 Chev Silverado truck.
