Chatham Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault – CK17000173

On January 2nd, 2017 a 27yr old Chatham man attacked a person he did not know by punching them in the head. The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered inner-ear damage from the attack. The 27yr old Chatham man was also on conditions to not be in that area of Chatham and was further charged with breaching them. He was held pending a bail hearing.

Police Respond to Break and Enter in Progress – CK17000164

On January 2nd, 2017 Police responded to an address in Chatham after a concerned neighbour called 911 about a possible break and enter being committed next door. Police arrived and cleared the building of suspects. Through investigation and witness statements Police were able to locate a 23 year old Chatham man at a nearby residence.

The 23 year old Chatham man was arrested for Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the home owner.

Chatham Man Breaches Conditions – CK17000194

On January 02, 2017 Police were contacted by a Surety of a 24yr old Chatham man. The 24yr old Chatham man is on conditions after being charged with indecent acts, driving offences, drug offences and harassment. His Surety called Police after he was seen breaching one of his conditions at his home. The 24yr old was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
