The Chatham-Kent Police responded to 118 calls for service within the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered CK16044303

Yesterday at approximately 09:00am a previously reported stolen vehicle was located in Chatham. The registered owner of the vehicle was notified of its location and then towed to a secure compound for further investigation.

Man Charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK16044372

Last night at approximately 07:30pm police responded to the area of Harvey Street in Chatham in regards to an intoxicated man.

Officers located the man who was unable to care for himself. For his own safety, he was arrested and transported to police headquarters. The 54 year old Windsor, ON. man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be released when sober.

Last night at approximately 08:00pm police responded to the area of Talbot Street W. in Blenheim in regards to an intoxicated man causing a disturbance.

Officers located the man who was unable to care for himself. For his own safety, he was arrested and transported to police headquarters. The 19 year old man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be released when sober.
