(GODERICH, ON) – On July 15, 2012 at approximately 2:15 a.m. a Huron OPP officer observed a Chevrolet Cruze traveling above the posted rate of speed on Elgin Avenue East in Goderich. The officer was able to stop the driver on Elgin Avenue and upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol.
Charles MILLIAN, age 26, from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol. He has a scheduled court appearance on August 27, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
