Charges to be Laid in Fail to Remain

Update to media release sent 28th June 2013 “Fail to Remain – extensive damage”

The investigation into a single motor vehicle collision that had occurred at approximately 1:00 am of Friday June 28th, 2013 has lead to the driver being identified as the registered owner of the vehicle.

The owner of a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup red in colour, lost control of the vehicle on the wet asphalt when west bound in the 800 block of 11th Street West in the city of Owen Sound. The vehicle received extensive damage but fortunately the driver escaped injury. The driver / owner left the scene of the collision leaving behind the inoperable truck, and then failed to notify police of the accident.

Nature of the charges is pending at the conclusion of the investigation.
