(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has laid charges in relation to the robbery of a fast food restaurant in the 1500 block of Alta Vista Drive.
On November 10, 2014, at approximately 7:45 pm, a lone male entered a fast food restaurant. He made a verbal demand for money, produced a razor, and assaulted an employee. The male then fled the premises without having obtained anything. There were no injuries to the victim. The suspect was located a short time later by patrol officers responding to and investigating the robbery.
David FINDLAY, age 30 of Toronto, has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon, and assault. He appeared in court on November 11, 2014, and appears next on November 12, 2014 by video.
