Charge Laid In Fatal Pedestrian Collision In Listowel

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Upon the completion of the investigation into the Tuesday January 20, 2015, collision involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian in Listowel, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid a charge against the driver of the pickup truck.

John YUNGBLUT (57) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with the offence of “fail to yield to pedestrian”, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. He is scheduled to attend at the Provincial Offences Court in Stratford on April 10, 2015 to answer to this charge.
