Cassandra Zwiep – Drunk Driving

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 20 year old female driver with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. Just before 3:30 a.m. on July 20, 2013 a Huron County OPP officer observed a blue Dodge Caliber travelling on Amberley Road east of Bluevale. It was noticed the driver of the vehicle was weaving within the lane. Upon stopping the vehicle the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered and the driver registered a fail. She was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP detachment for breath tests. She provided two samples of her breath; both were above the legal limit.

Cassandra ZWIEP, 20, from Listowel has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham on September 19, 2013. She received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
