Caryn Zusman – Drunk Driving

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) Before 7 p.m. on Sunday May 20, 2012, a Perth County OPP officer checked on the driver of a vehicle stopped along Forest Rd. east of Stratford. The female driver displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville for breath tests which she failed.

Caryn Zusman (38) of North York has been charged with “impaired operation of a motor vehicle”, and with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood”. She is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on June 25, 2012 to answer to these charges. She was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Numerous vehicles were stopped at R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) checks, there officers issued three, 3 day driver’s licence suspensions on motorists having a blood alcohol concentrations registering from .05 to .08 on a roadside screening device.
