(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On August 15th, 2010 at 6:08 am, the South Bruce OPP received a report of a 2 vehicle crash on Highway 21, Kincardine Township, north of Concession 9. A vehicle was stopped for a red light in the construction zone when another vehicle came along and crashed into the back of the stopped vehicle. Both drivers were treated at the South Bruce Grey Health centre in Kincardine for minor injuries and released. 54 year old Caroline Rider of Kincardine is charged with Careless Driving. The South Bruce OPP is sending a caution out to motorists to be extra vigilant in construction zones. Temporary traffic control systems are put in place for safety reasons and must be obeyed by all drivers.
